A real or fake Christmas Tree – which is more environmentally friendly?
D’abord c’est vrai à dire que les Noël synthétiques ne perdent pas leurs épines et restent éternellement verts.
Firstly it is true to say that artificial Christmas trees do not shed and remain green forever.
On peut donc utiliser le même sapin pendant plusieurs années, ce qui semble une bonne idée de développement durable.
So we can use the same tree for several years, which seems to be a good idea for sustainable development.
Saviez-vous cependant que le sapin naturel est l’arbre de Noël le plus écologique, alors l’impact du sapin artificiel est bien supérieur pour le climat et les ressources naturelles.
Did you know however that the natural fir tree is the most ecologically-friendly Christmas tree so the impact of the artificial tree est higher for climate and natural resources.

FRENCH LEAVING CERT REVISION COURSES
If you would be interested in attending one of our French Leaving Cert Revision courses, please follow the link below for more information. All of our monthly courses take place from September to May and are held in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. Our Courses begin at 1pm and ends at 5pm. The cost is €60 and includes a 30 page booklet with exclusive French Notes content. During our revision courses, students learn how to write opinion pieces, Diary entries and/or the narrative (récit), learn active listening methodology, practice speaking and reading French comprehensions. They also do Translation exercises and study a specific area of grammar.
