Bonjour tout le monde! 

Firstly, thank you for tuning into our French Notes Facebook Page Livestream. I have decided that the best way to share the content with you, is to put the files into a blog after the Livestream. Our livestreams are attracting a huge number of people and being done to help both Junior and Leaving Cert students. The material that we share with you is only a fraction of what is available to members of our plans. However, I will continue to share as much as possible over the next couple of weeks.

• Me voici en vacances en Nouvelle-Calédonie avec ma famille. Je passe un bon moment.

Here i am on holidays in Nouvelle Caledonie with my family. I am having a great time.

1. COMMENT AS‐TU VOYAGÉ | HOW DID YOU TRAVEL?

• Nous avons pris l’avion de Dublin. Le vol était bien mais un peu long.

We took the plane from Dublin. The flight was fine but a bit long.

 

OÙ EST‐CE QUE TU TE LOGES | WHERE ARE YOU STAYING?

• Nous logeons dans un bel hôtel tout près de la plage.

We are staying in a lovely hotel very near the beach.

 

2. QUEL TEMPS FAIT‐IL EN NOUVELLE‐CALÉDONIE |WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?

• Le temps est superbe et il fait très chaud. 

The weather is brilliant and it is very hot.

 

3. QUELLES SONT LES ACTIVITÉS QUE TU FAIS TOUS LES JOURS | WHAT DO YOU DO EVERY DAY?

• Pendant la journée, je vais nager, je joue au volley-ball sur la plage et je visite quelques sites touristiques.  

During the day, I go swimming, I play volleyball on the beache and I visit some of the tourist sites.

 

4. QU’EST‐CE QUE TU AIMES LE PLUS | WHAT DO YOU LIKE THE MOST?

• J’aime beaucoup le paysage et j’aime surtout nager dans la mer.  

I really love the scenery and I especially like swimming in the sea.

 

5. QU’EST‐CE QUE TU N’AIMES PAS | WHAT DO YOU NOT LIKE?

• Cependant, je n’aime pas la nourriture. Les gens D’ici mangent trop de fruits de mer !

However I don’t like the food. People here eat too much seafood!

 

6. QUELS SONT TES PROJETS POUR LE WEEK‐END | WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE WEEKEND?

• Ce week-end, nous irons dans un très bon restaurant pour fêter l’anniversaire de ma mère.

This weekend we will go to a very nice restaurant to celebrate my mother’s birthday.
