The verb Faire which means to do or to make is one of the most important verbs in French. I consider it to be so important as to be part of the French Verbal Royal Family! IS IT REGULAR OR IRREGULAR? Like most of the important verbs in French, it is irregular.

- Elle fait la tête – She is sulking
- Faire face à quelque chose – To deal with something
- Il faut faire face à cette situation difficile – We must deal with this difficult situation
- Faire le malin – To show off
- Il faisait le malin devant ses amis – He was showing off in front of his friends
Faire la cuisine to cook

- Ma mère fait la cuisine tous les soirs – My mother cooks every evening
