There is no escape from stress. However, it is important to realise that stress is a normal reaction to everyday life, and the body’s coping mechanism. It is only when you suffer from stress persistently, that it can lead to health problems.

  • Stress is generated by the fear or uncertainty about the future.

  • When you consider how important the leaving cert is, it is not surprising that so many students feel stressed.
