Leaving Certificate Reading Comprehension Study Guide 2013

LEAVING CERTIFICATE READING COMPREHENSION STUDY GUIDE 2013

LEAVING CERTIFICATE READING COMPREHENSION STUDY GUIDE  2013

Unlike a lot of sites which aim to help students with several subjects in the Leaving or Junior Certificate exams, French Notes.ie focuses entirely on French. We have devised this study guide to help you answer the reading comprehensions, without giving the answers, as that, in our opinion, would be pointless, and there would be no evidence of learning. This study guide is designed to help you, without doing all the work for you!

These study guides can either be given out in class, or used at home. They are downloadable, and designed to give students confidence.  In each study guide, you will find that there is a list of some important vocabulary, and the questions are partially translated without giving too much away! We have also divided the questions into the particular sections for ease of use.  In order to do well in the reading comprehensions, you must understand exactly what you are being asked, and only answer what you are asked. If you give too much information, you will be penalised accordingly. For example, if the question is asking for a particular word or “mot” and you give the sentence or “phrase” containing the word, you will not get the marks.
