Postcard Bundle (2004/2006/2009)

In a typical postcard, you will have to be able to write about where you are and you are with. In addition, you need to be able to say where you went yesterday or last week. Subsequently, you must know your present tense and past tense. Also, you usually have to write about a future event. An example of this would be for example, that you will go to the beach tomorrow or that you will visit a particular place. Finally, you must know how to use adjectives correctly so that you can describe people, places and events. Postcards have traditionally been very popular in the Junior Cert written section of the exam. To sum up, please practice writing postcards, as they are a popular choice. In this postcard bundle (2004/2006/2009), there are 3 sample postcards:

  • In the 2004 postcard … You are asked to write about your holidays in Kerry.
  • In the 2006 postcard… You are asked to write about your holidays in Spain.
  • In the 2009 postcard… You are asked to write about a school trip to Paris.
