Teacher Annual Plan

Teachers lead very busy lives both inside and outside the classroom. They often have full timetables catering for all year groups from 1st to 6th year.  Bearing this in mind, French Notes has a new feature specifically for Teachers. We have put together SAMPLE LESSONS, which can be used for each year group. In our 5th year and Leaving Cert lessons, the four linguistic skills of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking are included, with important vocabulary on a particular topic.

In our Junior Cycle lesson samples, attention is given to Reading, Vocabulary and Listening, which cover the receptive skills. We then have sample written and conversation pieces which cover the productive skills. Where suitable, we have portfolio and /or CBA suggestions. In some of our lessons, we also recommend which parts of Grammar need to be taught.

This will give Teachers the chance to look beyond the school book and have lessons planned in advance, where all they have to do is click on the lesson they wish to give. All of our lessons are done on pdf files and are compatible with overhead projectors.

On the French Notes website, Teachers will also find LESSON PLANS, which are designed to meet the new MFL requirements,  featuring  the three strands of Communicative Competence, Language Awareness and Socio-Cultural Knowledge and Intercultural Awareness.

In addition to this exclusive content, French Teachers have open access to all of the Notes contained within the Leaving Cert and Junior Cert Plans.

How Can I Justify the Cost?

French Teachers all over Ireland are using our Notes, because they take the hassle out of constantly looking for material. Most Teachers do not limit themselves to the text book, but instead spend hours and hours trying to source material, that is suitable and age-appropriate. The good news is that there is no need to use up your precious time scrolling through reams of information.  Our Notes are done out to meet the requirements of the Irish Syllabus.

Why are French Notes the Best?

We are the only Irish website specialising in French for the Irish Curriculum. In addition, over 200 schools around Ireland use French Notes’ Material, so teachers are putting their trust in our ability to provide the best possible notes in the French language, tailor-made for both the Junior & Leaving Cert cycles. Furthermore, all of the Leaving Cert Revision notes on French Notes are written by teachers and examiners, so you can be assured of the highest quality. We also add Revision Notes on subjects of interest and current affairs according as they happen, due to the fact that French Notes is a website. So you can be assured that French Notes will always be relevant and on point. We also perform detailed research prior to writing articles and there is thought behind every sentence that goes on the website. Finally, we customise our content so that it is suitable for our young audience.
