French Online Classes – Term Five – 5th year
For 5th years, classes will focus on showing students how to engage with the senior level syllabus. Students will learn how to express themselves both orally and through written exercises. They will also be shown how to properly approach the Reading and Listening components of the exam.
The 5th year class is a gentle introduction to Leaving Cert French. The instructor will be guiding them through the paper and showing them how to tackle the skills of reading, writing and listening. We will do a bit of oral work, but the emphasis is really on gaining mastery over the grammar and approach to the paper.
Elizabeth has been doing this for many years and she knows that learning how to write is the most important element for students. They generally feel that they cannot write, but with a little guidance, she can get them writing for themselves. Once they feel that they are able to write (even a little), they grow in confidence, which is really what is needed to master any subject.

Students may choose to pay for each class in advance, or for the entire course in advance. During the classes, students will be encouraged to interact with their teacher and other attendees. Notes for individual classes will be sent as soon as the booking is completed by the student. If a student books several classes in advance, the notes will be sent at least 48 hours in advance of each class booked.
